The Ready by 21 National Partnership is proud to announce the awardees of the Ready by 21 Quality Improvement & Asset Building Challenge Grants (Q&A Challenge). Wicomico County, MD; Asheville, NC; and Ft. Myers, FL showed a broad cross-sector commitment building assets for children and youth and so were selected to be part of the Q&A Challenge first cohort.

On June 30, the Forum convened the Children's Cabinet Network in Washington, DC to meet with federal policymakers about improving coordination between state and national youth policy.
Ready by 21 Institute Engages Leaders from Across the Nation
On August 3-4, the Forum offered a Ready by 21 Institute in Washington, D.C. The training’s main objective was to expand participants’ understanding of the rationale and thinking behind the Ready by 21 strategies and increase the knowledge base on the research behind Ready by 21, as well as the practical and conceptual tools that help to convey it.
Forum Convenes Scholars Studying Research Use in Policy & Practice
On July 26-27, the Forum for Youth Investment and the William T. Grant Foundation convened an interdisciplinary group of scholars who are all launching studies about the acquisition, use and interpretation of research evidence in policy and practice.
